IBPS PO Subject Preparation
- Reasoning: build solving methods, then practise mixed timed sets.
- Quantitative aptitude and data analysis: develop arithmetic foundations and select efficient methods for data-based questions.
- English: practise reading, comprehension, vocabulary in context and grammar through questions.
- Banking and current affairs: connect institutions and banking concepts with relevant news.
- Written communication: practise the descriptive tasks prescribed for your cycle.
These are preparation areas, not a replacement for the official detailed syllabus. Use the current information handout to confirm sections, timings and instructions.
From Foundation to Timed Mocks
Use four study stages. First, diagnose weak concepts with short sets. Second, learn the method and practise without excessive time pressure. Third, introduce sectional timing. Fourth, complete mixed mocks and review every wrong or skipped question.
Prelims practice should develop reliable question selection and speed. For Mains, devote time to longer reasoning and data-analysis sets, banking awareness and the notified writing tasks. Carry current affairs revision throughout the preparation period.
- Allocate a daily session to one weak topic.
- Keep a separate timed section for a stronger subject.
- Read and revise current affairs daily.
- Review the error notebook at the end of each week.
- Repeat a previously incorrect set before moving to more material.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should I study first for IBPS PO?

How should I balance Prelims and Mains preparation?

Are all IBPS PO selection processes identical across years?
Use the applicable cycle notification and corrigenda. The preparation hub does not substitute for current selection rules.
How many mocks should I attempt?
Choose a frequency that leaves enough time for analysis and correction. Unreviewed mocks provide less useful feedback.

Open the Exam Prepp app, select Free Courses and then Daily Current Affairs.
