JAIIB November 2026 Last 30 Days Preparation Strategy Exam Prepp
JAIIB November 2026 is now in the final revision phase. IIBF has scheduled the four papers on 1, 22, 28 and 29 November 2026. This 30-day plan focuses on revision, MCQ practice, weak-area correction and paper-wise preparation without trying to re-study the entire syllabus.

JAIIB November 2026 Exam Dates

DatePaper
1 Nov 2026Indian Economy & Indian Financial System (IE & IFS)
22 Nov 2026Principles & Practices of Banking (PPB)
28 Nov 2026Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers (AFM)
29 Nov 2026Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM)

The official IIBF rules state that JAIIB papers are online, approximately 100 objective questions for 100 marks, with a two-hour duration and no negative marking for wrong answers.

JAIIB Last 30 Days Preparation Strategy

At this stage, preparation should move from coverage to consolidation. Divide daily study into three blocks: concept revision, chapter-wise MCQs and error revision. Maintain one short notebook or digital sheet containing formulas, banking terms, confusing provisions, frequently missed concepts and mock-test errors.

  • 50% time: revise concepts and your existing notes.
  • 30% time: chapter-wise and mixed MCQs.
  • 20% time: analyse mistakes and revise weak areas.

Because IE & IFS is the first paper, give it immediate priority. The long gap after 1 November can then be used strategically for PPB, followed by an intensive AFM + RBWM revision cycle.

Paper-wise Revision Plan

1. IE & IFS

Revise the Indian economy, economic planning and reforms, financial system structure, regulators, banking structure, financial markets and major economic/financial concepts. Link static concepts with relevant banking and economic developments instead of memorising isolated facts.

2. PPB

Prioritise banking operations, deposits, KYC/customer service, lending fundamentals, payment systems, digital banking, risk-related concepts and commonly tested operational areas. Use MCQs to identify similar-looking rules and terms that are easy to confuse.

3. AFM

AFM needs repeated numerical practice. Revise accounting fundamentals, journal/ledger concepts, trial balance and errors, financial statements, ratios, depreciation and financial-management calculations. Maintain a formula sheet and solve questions without looking at the solution first.

4. RBWM

Revise retail banking products and operations, customer requirements, delivery channels, retail lending, recovery, wealth-management fundamentals and customer-service concepts. Use comparison tables for products and closely related concepts.

30-Day Week-wise Study Plan

Days 1–7: Complete first revision of IE & IFS while keeping 60–90 minutes daily for PPB/AFM rotation.

Days 8–15: Second revision of high-weight/weak IE & IFS areas, mixed MCQs and sectional tests. Continue formula practice for AFM.

Days 16–23: Full IE & IFS revision plus mocks; increase PPB revision so the post-first-paper gap is used efficiently.

Days 24–30: IE & IFS final notes, error notebook, mixed tests and controlled revision. Avoid adding large new sources in the final days.

MCQ & Mock-Test Strategy

Do not judge preparation only by the number of MCQs attempted. For every wrong or guessed answer, record the underlying concept. Reattempt marked questions after 2–3 days. Start with chapter-wise tests, move to mixed-paper tests, and finally use timed full-length mocks to improve recall and time management.

Last 7 Days Before Each Paper

  • Revise your own notes, formulas and marked questions.
  • Attempt timed mixed tests rather than learning from entirely new sources.
  • Analyse every mock on the same day.
  • Revise high-error chapters twice.
  • Keep the final day light: key concepts, formulas and error notebook.
