Exam Prepp action point: Do not change your preparation plan dramatically now. Use the remaining time for revision, timed practice, banking knowledge, current economic/banking awareness and accuracy rather than opening large new topics.

BOB LBO Exam Day Documents: What to Prepare

Prepare your exam folder one day before the test. At minimum, keep the printed call letter and the identity/document items specifically required on it. Bank recruitment examinations ordinarily require original valid photo identification together with the call-letter documentation; however, candidates should follow the exact ID list and copy/photograph requirements printed on their BOB LBO call letter.

Call Letter

Print a clear copy. Check your name, registration details, venue, reporting time and shift.

Photo ID

Carry the original valid photo ID specified in the call letter and any photocopy required there.

Photograph

If the call letter asks for a recent photograph, use one matching the prescribed requirements.

Special Documents

Scribe/PwBD or other category-specific candidates should carry the forms/certificates required by their call letter and applicable rules.

Exam Centre Checklist

  • Locate the venue in advance and estimate travel time with a safety buffer.
  • Reach according to the reporting time printed on your call letter; do not treat the test start time as reporting time.
  • Check that the name on your ID and call letter is consistent. If you have a legally changed name, carry the supporting documents specified in the call letter.
  • Carry only permitted stationery/items. Do not take unnecessary bags or valuables.
  • Follow invigilator instructions during identity verification, biometric/photo capture or other verification formalities.
  • Do not share credentials, call-letter details or personal documents on public groups.

Items Candidates Should Not Carry

Electronic and communication devices, calculators unless specifically permitted, notes/books and other prohibited material should not be taken into the examination venue. The exact prohibited-item list on the candidate’s call letter takes priority. Candidates should also avoid jewellery, accessories or belongings that may slow security screening when the call letter advises against them.

Last 24–48 Hours Preparation Strategy

Banking Knowledge

Revise RBI functions, monetary policy tools, banking products, digital payments, NPA basics, priority-sector concepts and recent banking developments.

GA/Economy

Revise recent banking/economy news, key appointments, reports, schemes and financial-sector developments.

Reasoning + Quant

Practise familiar high-return sets. Prioritise accuracy and time discipline over difficult new varieties.

English

Revise reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary-in-context and common error patterns.

What Happens After the Online Examination?

The original recruitment framework permits further selection stages such as psychometric assessment/other suitable test, Local Language Proficiency Test where applicable and Personal Interview, as decided under the notified process. Qualification in one stage does not by itself guarantee final appointment. Candidates must continue checking the Bank’s official recruitment page for result, shortlisting and subsequent-stage instructions.

Do not rely on unofficial shift claims: Candidate-specific shift, reporting time and centre information should be taken only from your call letter. Exam Prepp will not label circulating social-media schedules as official without Bank confirmation.

Common Exam-Day Mistakes to Avoid

  • Reaching the venue close to the examination start instead of the reporting time.
  • Carrying an ID not accepted by the call-letter instructions.
  • Forgetting a photocopy, photograph or special declaration when the call letter requires it.
  • Taking a phone, smartwatch or prohibited electronic item into the restricted area.
  • Spending too much time on a difficult question set and damaging the overall attempt.
  • Depending on screenshots or forwarded messages instead of the official call letter.
